Spain defers the rollout of Veri*factu until 2027
The Spanish government has announced a one-year delay in the implementation of Veri*factu, the new invoicing system. The revised deadlines are January 1, 2027, for corporate taxpayers and July 1, 2027, for all other taxpayers.
Government approves draft bill to transpose first part of new VAT directive for digital economy
The Council of Ministers has approved the first draft to change VAT Law 37/1992. This update starts to put into effect the new EU rules for VAT in the digital age, based on Directive (EU) 2025/516.
Pagero certified as Veri*factu service provider in Spain
Pagero has officially been certified as a Veri*factu service provider in Spain, effective July 11, 2025, positioning the company as a trusted partner for Spanish businesses navigating electronic invoicing requirements under the Anti-Fraud Law.
