Indonesia moves forward with Coretax and new e-invoicing rules
Indonesia has strengthened its e-invoicing framework with the rollout of the Coretax system and updated VAT compliance rules. Businesses must now follow new clearance processes, deadlines, and identity requirements to ensure smooth operations.
Indonesia will increase VAT rate to 11% from April 2022
Following a new law approved, the Indonesian VAT rate will rise to 11% and 12% in April 2022 and January 2025 respectively.
