Pagero becomes Thomson Reuters – A global platform for compliance

17 de noviembre de 2025

Since Thomson Reuters acquired Pagero in February 2024, the company has been working to create a comprehensive global compliance platform that unites indirect tax and e-invoicing in a single, integrated solution. As the next step, Pagero will now rebrand as Thomson Reuters.

Following the acquisition, Pagero’s technology for e-invoicing and digital business communication was integrated into Thomson Reuters’ tax and compliance platform, ONESOURCE.

– We’ve seen compliance shift from isolated requirements to a more interconnected ecosystem. By bringing Pagero’s global network into Thomson Reuters, we’re giving customers a single, trusted path to manage e-invoicing and tax — faster, at a global scale, and with the accuracy they expect,” explains Erik Stening, Director of Product Marketing at Thomson Reuters.

Customers will benefit from Thomson Reuters’ global resources and expertise, while the name change will not affect existing agreements.

– Pagero’s brand is changing, but the value and reliability remain. This is the next natural step in our shared journey to build the digital business network of the future, says Joakim Hahne, Regional Manager for Northern Europe at Thomson Reuters.

With Pagero’s technology integrated into the new ONESOURCE Pagero, customers gain several advantages:

  • Save time and reduce errors by managing tax and invoicing in one place
  • Ensure compliance without slowing down business—even as regulatory requirements change
  • Access the largest e-invoicing network on the market, now backed by Thomson Reuters’ global reach and expertise

– Governments are no longer just checking tax returns — they’re stepping into the transactions themselves. They want invoice-level data in real time, and they’re using it to match and reconcile tax positions and even pre-fill returns, says Nazar Paradivskyy, Head of Regulatory Affairs at Thomson Reuters.

– By coming together as Thomson Reuters, we’re combining deep tax expertise with a global e-invoicing network to help businesses stay ahead of these demands — not just at the reporting stage, but at the moment of transaction, Nazar Paradivskyy concludes.
