E-invoicing to become mandatory in Malaysia

From 1 August 2024, the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (LHDN) implemented a country-wide electronic invoicing mandate in Malaysia that covers B2G, B2B and B2C transactions. The Malaysian Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), as an established Peppol Authority, will gradually introduce Peppol e-invoicing for all businesses in the country from 1 August 2024 to July 2025, in alignment with LHDN's rollout. Pagero is an accredited Peppol service provider by MDEC, and enables multinationals and small businesses alike to confidently comply with LHDN's requirements.
